Okay

Just to summarize the last two anon asks (I’m going to delete them soon to stop it from clogging the archive and dashboards):

I, Libby (yachumi), am a junior in high school who hasn’t been in an art class since the 7th grade (so that’s almost 5 years ago). I teach myself every time I sculpt my miniatures, and I have no plan to go to college to get a degree in fine arts (because I’m going to college for nursing).

No one should be deemed an artist or not depending on their age, level of education, or level of ability. We are not born with super-art-powers. 5-year-olds can be artists, middle school students can be artists, the elderly, HECK even hobos are artists!

Thank you for the many many many messages I’ve received, and I will get to messaging them asap!

This is the last text post on artist-problems for today. Thank you!

This might not last too long

but I created a DA artist-problems group where you guys who go on DA can submit your art and find each other. I will ONLY accept you on there if you are following us on artist-problems.tumblr.com

Click here to view the group!

It is a WIP so it’s not completely set up correctly, but feel free to join!

I will have normal submissions back up on Tuesday!

I have internet right now because I’m at Starbucks, but normal submissions will continue on Tuesday when I have it in my new house.

Talk to you guys then and enjoy the nostalgic old problems left in the queue!

I have time to fill the queue with old submissions.

I’m about to be away from the computer for a few days, so you guys will see old problems from the 700-900 problems and possibly older.

Please note: if a submission has quotation marks (e.g “fashion is not art”) it does not mean that it is true. It’s simply a phrase heard by artists, so please do NOT message us with a rant about anything with quotations.

Thank you and talk to you guys soon!

We have a new view counter on artist-problems.

It’s so cool and creeperish because you can see where relatively everyone is, what kind of internet browser they are using, aldfjldsfjdfj it’s just cool.

Sorry, thought I should tell you guys…cause it’s cool.

Sorry about another text post, but this is important.

The posts may be few for a little while longer. My step dad’s father is on life support and is most likely not going to make it.

I’m sorry wewell me keep lagging behind in submissions and making a lot of text posts. Things will smooth out soon.

A suggestion

When you can not upload your picture to the draw drills, or if you want the picture to show up in an art tag of yours, upload the picture separately from the drill, tag it with “Draw Drill” and other tags if you want.

If you do this, it would be great if you linked to the specific drill as well.

On the plus side, others, including us here at artist-problems, can look through the amazing art you guys create, and possibly even get ideas for the drills! :D

Plus, I like seeing people actually doing the challenges (◡‿◡✿)
